holy crazy signposts batman!!

sometimes i like to head out and just drive around taking pictures. while on a few of these trips ive come across a few signs i found odd.

i simply just have never seen this sign. consequently, i havent the slightest as to what it means! while approaching the sign, it looked like a surfboard from a distance. it took me a few trips past it to realize its some kind of vibrating ring. what really adds to the mystery is that this sign is posted before heading into a school zone going both directions, but the other sign doesnt have the mysterious ring around the person. anyway ive never seen the sign any where else.

c'mon. seriously?

...no really, seriously?

this one makes me laugh! it looks like its saying 'watch out for the mid-fielder who may be playing soccer in traffic'!

pretty sure its supposed to be some sort of 'watch for kids playing' sign, but the man on the sign appears to be at least in his 20's. not to mention his head isnt even connected to his body nor does he have hands and feet. one could probably get by with no hands, but i'd imagine it would be difficult to play soccer with a floating head and no feet to put cleats on. and considering he is feet-less, i think that maybe the 'wobbly ring' from the first sign is better suited to be around this soccer in traffic guy.

holy crazy two bizzles in two days, batman! What is the deal?!

Oh, and yeah. I work with handicap kids. It is state law that they all walk while hullahooping. We hand em out at the door. You know, make life just a little bit more fucked up and all.

Well, I'm with Melissa...what is this with the frequent blogging? I have to admit, I'm cracking up laughing...WHERE did you find all these random signs?

melissa--hula hoops huh? is there a contest too?

amy--the hula hoop guy and the contradiction sign were from up north. the mid-fielder playing in traffic was from san diego.

melissa and amy-- its my blizzle and i'll post (and not post?) whenever i please! :p

You can post and not post when you please and we can comment on the frequency or infrequency of your posts as we please. So there! :P

i go back and forth between 'blizzle' and 'bizzle'.

I'm looking at the guy's detached head and it is making me think he is kicking (or dribbling) yet another detached head. Soccer in a really, really tough neighborhood perhaps?

chris--yeah i actually found the sign posted near the old 'tech ghetto'. people casually kick other peoples heads around the hood ya know...lol great observation by the way!df

maybe it isn't a soccerball at all... maybe it is the head of the hulahooping handicapped kid that got hit by a car when someone entered in the exit only entrance. boo yah. yup... i said it.

diana- or maybe its a bowling ball that was ejected from a car as it was entering the entrance only at the bowling alley. the other driver was enthralled by the watch out for surfing handicap kids in traffic sign.

wow i need to stop drinking and posting simultaneously!!
